This is going to go down as the wedding day where my camera roll was just filled with pure, unadulterated joy from start to finish. If you want to know what it looks like when two people are not just deeply in love, but also completely thrilled to be marrying each other, look no further than Maddie and Alex.

I first met Maddie and Alex back in October of 2024, and to say I’ve been looking forward to their June 26th wedding would be a massive understatement. Over the last couple of years of getting to know them, one thing became abundantly clear: they are, without a doubt, the absolute nicest people you will ever meet. They are the kind of couple who makes everyone around them feel seen, loved, and welcomed—so it was no surprise that their wedding day was an incredible reflection of that exact energy.

They chose the Boulders at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park for their celebration, and oh my goodness, it did not disappoint. The Boulders is famous for its massive wall of windows and towering granite cliffs that frame the mountains perfectly, providing a grand, rugged backdrop while wrapping you in total luxury.

While the mountain views were breathtaking, the real magic of the day was the reception. Maddie and Alex were just so incredibly excited to finally celebrate with their absolute favorite friends and family. Once the formalities were over, the dance floor completely came alive—and that is where some of my absolute favorite memories of the entire day happened.

First of all, Maddie’s grandpa completely stole the show. He got his dance on for real with Maddie, and watching the two of them tearing up the dance floor together was a moment I will never forget. It was pure gold. And the energy didn’t stop there—Maddie spent the rest of the night dancing her heart out with all of her best friends, surrounded by a circle of people who clearly adore her and Alex. The laughter was loud, the dance moves were epic, and the love in the room was palpable.

Maddie and Alex, you two are a bright light, and it was the ultimate honor to be the one capturing the start of your marriage. Thank you for treating everyone around you like family and for throwing the absolute best celebration!
