Destination Wedding at the Decameron Resort Santa Elena, Ecuador

Alex and Cristina had a destination wedding in Ecuador this summer and it was such an honor to be their photographer of choice.

Alex and Cristina met six years ago when Alex went to Ecuador with the Peace Corp.  They met right away when they both ended up at the same dance club.  Cris spotted Alex across the dance floor and knew he was the man for her… to practice her english with 🙂 Their story grew from their with Alex bringing Cristina back to America with him, Cristina pursuing and finishing her degree in English, and then they made it official back in the country where it all started.  Surrounded by their friends and family Cristina and Alex said “I do” on the beach where Cristina always dreamed of getting married.

Spending the week with them was a once in a lifetime experience and Chad and I savored every second of it (especially the fresh fruit during our meals)!  Thank you so much for choosing me to document your special day in paradise.  I look forward to our future Peruvian meals and Latin dance nights! xoxo Jackie
