Downtown St. Louis Engagement Session

The smell of the spring showers hung in the air causing a little chill but left the city smelling clean.  Elena and Mason met me downtown at the Robert’s Tower Plaza to start their engagement session.  The love and spunk these two brought to their session was unmatched.  They fell together naturally, Mason wrapping Elena up in his arms.  The two chose Downtown St. Louis as their backdrop but their love started while working retail at a Rural King just across the river.

I loved working with Elena and Mason because their trust in me allowed me to guide and coach them with no hesitation.  We shared laughs and stories and they shared with me one of their passions, music.  After Robert’s Tower I took the couple to the Landing to give a more vintage feel to the backdrop to play on their guitars.  We even had a passer-by drop a few coins into Mason’s case.

After a quick wardrobe change we took in the sites of Lafayette Park where Elena showed off some of her guitar skills.  We could not have planned a better day for their session.  The cloudy skies made for perfect light with a little chill that allowed Mason to hold Elena a little tighter. <3
